A student-led project that looks to unlock all the quiet components of an owl feather for the first time. Using our successful techniques to 3D print fibrous structures, we look to create airfoil designs inspired by the quiet flight of owls to reduce aircraft noise once and for all.

Breaking down AeroFeathers into simple terms, 3 words could be used to describe it; owls, airplane, engine. I combined these into a simple logo.

The AeroFeathers team needed a video for their crowdfunding in order to raise $2,000 for their project. I used a mix of royalty free videos from pexels.com and 3D renders from William Johnson to show more accurate depictions of the AeroFeathers.

In collaboration with William Johnson.
